Canicattì, dealt cocaine, amphetamine and heroin: arrested with the drugs and 600 euros in cash

Canicattì (Agrigento), another positive result was obtained by police personnel in the fight against the phenomenon of drug dealing.

In fact, the operators carried out another arrest in flagrante delicto for possession for the purpose of dealing drugs committed by the 22-year-old AMD from Canicattino, with various police records.

The officers, during heavy checks in the Borgalino neighbourhood, one of the drug dealing areas of this centre, noticed a suspicious coming and going of people in the subject's home so they entered the property to carry out a search. He attempted to escape but was immediately blocked by the operators.

On a piece of furniture in the bedroom the staff found approximately 70 grams of narcotic substance of various types including cocaine, amphetamine and heroin, partly divided into doses, as well as packaging material, two precision scales and the sum of approximately €600 in contacts.

After the ritual formalities, the arrested person was made available to the PM on duty of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Agrigento. The arrest was validated by the GIP of the Court of Agrigento who ordered the arrestee to be subjected to the precautionary measure of the ban on residence in this centre.
