The Carabinieri of the Randazzo Company, at the end of a complex investigation activity, they have been reported free for the crime of aggravated damage in competition three local youths who, between the end of last year and the beginning of January, have 11 parking meters destroyed in Bronte.

About, following the first damage to the "columns" who provide the tickets for the parking service in the so-called "blue lines", the military has started investigations to trace the culprits, extrapolating the images from the video surveillance systems of the city center streets and collecting numerous testimonies from those who had, by chance, witnessed the events.

In particular, the soldiers of the Bronte Station and the Randazzo Radiomobile Unit, thanks also to the profound knowledge of the social and criminal fabric of the place, I am managed to trace the culprits, 3 young people from Bronte, aged 16, 22 and 28, the latter already known to the police for property and drug crimes, which, between New Year's Eve and the following January 10, they therefore blew up the parking meters.

Although many of the cameras in that area were not working or had not recovered details useful for the investigations, the examination of some videos, however, proved particularly valuable, as it allowed us to reconstruct the salient phases of some "raids".

In particular, in one circumstance, 2 of the 3 boys were filmed while, late in the evening, completely hooded si they wandered through the alleys of the historic center cautiously, looking around, until they approached a column located in Corso Umberto.

Having chosen the objective, one of them moved away to act as a "post", while the other began to place a homemade explosive device on the aircraft, to then walk away with your legs up, together with his accomplice, shortly before the violent explosion.

Despite the careful expedients implemented by the "bombers" to avoid being recognized, the physiognomy of the 3 did not seem so unknown to the investigators and, in fact, from in-depth checks on the web, among the numerous social media accounts, the Carabinieri they found a strong similarity between the subjects filmed by the cameras and the 3 social profiles.

Once the investigative framework has been clarified, the military decided to carry out a search on the latter and, at their homes, they found several items of clothing identical to those worn by the criminals. Furthermore, in home of the minor, were various types of free-sale fireworks discovered, element that "closed the circle", demonstrating their "familiarity" with pyrotechnics.

Finally, the acquisition and analysis of the conversations present in the chats on the minor's mobile phone, carried out thanks to the support of the Cyber ​​Investigation unit of the Catania Investigative Unit, he definitively framed the 3, ensuring that the two younger suspects had purchased the explosives from the 28-year-old by haggling over the price.

The three young people will now have to face trial before the judges of the Court of Catania.
