Brescia, two Tunisians arrested for serial thefts
Brescia, Thursday 15 October the Local Police arrested two Tunisians in the abandoned "ex Ideal Standard" industrial complex for serial thefts committed in the western area of the city. A precautionary custody order in prison was issued against the two, ordered by the investigating judge.
The Via Donegani Command carried out a series of investigations, also using IT equipment, and managed to recognize those responsible for the thefts and identify the place where they were hiding, within the abandoned area once occupied by the "Ideal Standard" . A patrol went to the scene, entering a building on the perimeter of the former industrial complex. Having entered a room, the agents managed to take the two Tunisians by surprise. Personal effects (shoes and clothing) worn during the thefts and part of the stolen goods were found next to the beds of the latter. The two were then notified of the precautionary custody order in prison.
The identity of the two Tunisians was confirmed by the automated fingerprint identification system (Afis – Automated Fingerprint Identification System), thanks to which it was possible to indisputably associate the suspects with judicial precedents.
Once the ritual formalities had been completed, the two Tunisians were accompanied to the prison in Brescia at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
