Brescia, swallows two bars of hashish to escape from the police
Brescia, Local Police interventions continue in the railway station area to combat drug dealing. On Tuesday 28 July, officers arrested two people in flagrante delicto and seized approximately three and a half grams of hashish.
During the evening a patrol, which was inspecting the surroundings of the station, noticed the suspicious movements of two people in via Solferino, a Gambian and a Burundian, already arrested previously for drug dealing.
The Burundian was approached by a young Ukrainian, to whom he handed over a small package he had just received from the Gambian, receiving some banknotes in exchange. The Ukrainian then headed towards the station square, where he was stopped by officers who found a cloth on him. hash bar weighing just under half a gram.
After dividing the money, the Gambian and the Burundian split. The latter was stopped by the patrol in Piazzale della Repubblica and, at the sight of the officers, swallowed two bars of hashish. The Gambian, however, was blocked in via Solferino. With him he had eight bars of hashish from weight of three grams.
The two, at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor, were held in the Security Rooms of the Local Police Command, awaiting immediate judgement.
With this intervention, the number of people arrested for drug dealing in the train station area in the last fifteen days rises to nine.
