Brescia, sold cocaine outside the former "Ideal Clima" factory
Brescia, the local police's anti-drug checks in the street area do not stop Milano. On Monday 20 July, officers arrested a Gambian man who was caught selling cocaine outside the former “Ideal Clima” factory.
During the evening a patrol, in civilian clothes and with a cover vehicle, noticed the presence of a man wandering near the entrance to the abandoned industrial area in via Milano. The officers had been keeping the area under control for some time due to numerous reports relating to drug dealing activities and had been able to observe the Gambian while he was escorting some people inside the former “Ideal Clima”.
Suddenly one arrived Fiat 500 and the driver, a young Italian, waved his arm in the direction of the abandoned building and was immediately joined by the Gambian. The latter boarded the car and, after a brief conversation, returned to the abandoned area. After a few minutes the Gambian returned to the Fiat 500 and handed a small bag to the Italian, receiving some banknotes in exchange. The two then separated and the car headed towards the parallel Via Metastasio, where it was stopped by the officers. The driver was searched and a package of cocaine weighing more than half a gram was found on him.
The Gambian, however, was intercepted on the way Milano and was accompanied to via Donegani. At the order of the Public Prosecutor, the man was held in the security rooms of the Command awaiting immediate trial.
