Brescia, man arrested for cocaine dealing
Brescia, Local Police interventions continue to combat drug dealing and urban decay. On Thursday 23 July a patrol arrested a Tunisian, caught a sell cocaine.
For some time the officers had been monitoring the movements of the man who, traveling on a bicycle along the ring, had been seen several times supplying supplies to some people known to the police as drug addicts. The Tunisian, multiple criminals for drug dealing, was spotted in the evening in via Morosini in the company of an Italian, to whom he handed over a small package, receiving money in exchange.
The two then separated and, at that point, the patrol intervened and stopped the Italian in via Chinca. An envelope containing 110 milligrams of cocaine was found on the latter. The officers then followed the Tunisian, who was trying to return to a house owned by his partner in via Manzoni, and they intercepted him, then allowed him to accompany him inside the apartment. After numerous requests, the man decided to hand over the narcotic substance he had with him: two packs of cocaine weighing a total of 430 milligrams hidden in a sock.
The patrol also found 500 € in a shoe that was in the bedroom, together with other personal effects of the Tunisian.
The man, on the orders of the Public Prosecutor, was placed under house arrest awaiting immediate trial.
