Brescia, Irresponsible entrepreneur. The Carabinieri suspend a production activity due to the absence of anti-Covid provisions

Brescia, Yesterday afternoon, as part of the uninterrupted checks on production activities carried out by the Carabinieri in the province of Brescia, the Carabinieri of the Carpenedolo station and the Labor Inspectorate Unit gained access to a local production activity specialized in the production of concrete products for the construction industry. Inside the company's production spaces and offices, the military detected the absence of devices and procedures to protect against contagion, including the absence of masks by two of the seven employees present as well as the failure to respect interpersonal distances. Furthermore, the owner of the company and his daughter-in-law, an employee of the same, were reported to the Judicial Authority because they were working in contact with the employees despite being placed in quarantine due to being positive for Covid by the Health Authority. Following the inspection, administrative fines were imposed pursuant to health legislation for a total value of approximately 1.500 euros. At the conclusion of the investigations, the temporary suspension of production activity was ordered pending the decisions of the Prefect of Brescia and in any case until the dangers found have been eliminated and measures to protect the health of workers have been put in place.
