In fact, every weekend the Army patrols the historic center, continuing to employ numerous soldiers in foot patrols, dynamic patrols on board cars and also with the support of a Mobile Station in Piazza Tebaldo Brusato, the hub of the nightlife for young people.

Yesterday evening, Saturday 13 March, despite the limitations currently in force, numerous sanctions were imposed, 17 to be precise, almost all of them to very young people, gathered in the streets of the center and often even without using masks.

However, the most serious episode occurred during the night in a hotel in the center. The Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Section, who intervened following a report to 112, were able to find the presence of 10 young people, aged between 15 and 28 and of various nationalities (African, Italian and Eastern European), who had regularly booked two rooms and were entertaining each other amicably, in full violation of current health regulations, while also disturbing the other guests of the facility. All ten were sanctioned pursuant to the Prime Ministerial Decree of 2 March and the Carabinieri also found approximately 17 grams of hashish on the person of a 20-year-old from Burkina Faso already known to the police, who was arrested in flagrante delicto for illicit possession of narcotic substances. Detained in the security rooms of the Carabinieri Provincial Command, on Monday morning he will be taken to Court for the celebration of the very direct rite of validation of the arrest.

The administrative sanctions applied, in total, amount to 6800,00 euros.
