A turning point in the investigation into the tragic death of Nora, the 15-year-old found lifeless in San Bonifacio on January 27. The State Police and the Carabinieri, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Verona, have arrested a 34-year-old North African for aggravated drug dealing. Investigations continue to shed light on the network of drug dealers active in the Verona area.

Breakthrough in the investigation into the death of young Nora, which occurred in San Bonifacio on 27.01.2025/XNUMX/XNUMX. On the afternoon of Saturday 8 February,  the State Police and the Carabinieri, following a targeted investigation coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Verona, they tracked down and arrested, in execution of a custody order in prison issued by the GIP of the Verona Court, a 34-year-old North African, homeless, illegally present on the national territory and already known to the police.

The latter was charged by investigators from the Verona Railway Police and the Carabinieri of the San Bonifacio Company Command, thanks to the investigative activity carried out – consisting in the taking of various testimonies and the acquisition of important video footage – have formed a serious circumstantial framework, in relation to the crime of drug dealing aggravated by the fact of having sold, on several occasions, drugs to the minor. The investigations clearly show how It was the 34-year-old who, in the last few days, sold cocaine to 15-year-old Nora, whose lifeless body was then found by the military in San Bonifacio on the 27th January scorso, in an abandoned house, a meeting place for drug users; in addition to this, the investigations highlighted how the man was decidedly active in drug dealing throughout the area of ​​San Bonifacio and surrounding towns.

In the same investigative context, the investigations led to the collection of further circumstantial evidence against two other acquaintances of the young Nora., for this reason reported at liberty, since in the days preceding his death they had organized and participated in various meetings for drug consumption.

Pending the outcome of the toxicological test, the State Police and the Carabinieri are continuing their investigations, which on the same day Saturday 8 carried out 6 personal and local searches in the provinces of Verona and Vicenza, seizing narcotics and numerous instruments for cutting, packaging and taking drugs as well as narcotic medicines, illegally held.

The investigations continue with the aim of reconstructing in detail the sad story of the death of the young Nora, as well as for the purpose of identify and dismantle the network of drug dealers that has recently been active in eastern Verona.
