Bolzano, wanted for mistreatment and sexual violence against his wife: 62-year-old arrested. 

On Thursday 11th the Agents of the Flying Squad of the Police Headquarters arrested this AN, a 62-year-old foreign citizen, wanted by the Police Force as he was hit with an Incarceration Order for the expiation of the sentence of 2 years and 6 months of imprisonment due to a final conviction for domestic abuse and sexual violence against his wife.

The facts date back to 2019 even if the first violent conduct dates back to 2013: in all these years the wife has had to suffer physical attacks on numerous occasions during arguments arising from the man's behavior, regardless of the needs of women and their children, indeed, taking away the basic economic resources for their most basic needs.

Furthermore, on one occasion, the man also sexually abused the woman whose absolute opposition to having sexual intercourse had not been taken into consideration at all.

The investigations conducted by the Flying Squad had allowed the Public Prosecutor to send the subject to trial, who in the meantime he had been removed from his family unit, up to the point where the sentence recently became final.

At the end of the Judicial Police proceedings, AN was associated with the Trento prison for the expiation of the sentence.
