The Carabinieri of the Bologna station have carried out an application order of the precautionary measure in prison against a 64-year-old foreigner, resident in the Province of Bologna, under investigation for sexual violence committed against a 7-year-old girl. The precautionary measure was issued by the Judge for Preliminary Investigations of the Court of Bologna, at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Bologna. The investigations were started by the Carabinieri last April, when the parents of a seven-year-old girl showed up at the barracks to report a relative, the 64-year-old foreigner, accused of having performed sexual acts against the minor. In particular, the two parents, Italian and resident in Bologna, reported to the Carabinieri that the man, taking advantage of the family relationship (in the case of an uncle by marriage) which led him to frequent the family home when the parents were out for work, he would have sexually abused her, secretly from the other two minor brothers of the victim who the man left in another room to watch television. Subjected to a protected hearing with the help of a psychologist, the minor told the details of the story, adding that her uncle gave her those "cuddles" (oral sex) because he had told her that he loved her very much and that she shouldn't tell it. to his mother otherwise he would have ended up in prison. In fact, the little girl, victim of her uncle's circumvention, did not tell anything about her until her mother made the disturbing discovery about her during a dinner with relatives at a restaurant. In the circumstance, the woman who until that moment had placed the utmost trust in the man, surprised the relative while she was caressing the private parts of the little girl who was sitting next to her. At that point, the little girl, questioned by her mother about what she had seen of her, told everything about her, saying that she had suffered similar acts on at least twelve occasions.
