Bologna. 34-year-old Moroccan, already known to the police, arrested for drug dealing by the Carabinieri.

The Carabinieri of the Bologna San Ruffillo station arrested a 34-year-old Moroccan man, of no fixed address, for drug dealing.

The 34-year-old was arrested on the morning of January 28, 2024 for having given two packs of narcotic substance of the "cocaine" type to a motorist, a 62-year-old Italian who had been seen wandering suspiciously in a street in the Foscherara area, monitored by the Carabinieri due to the presence of drug dealers and drug users.

A similar event, in fact, had happened in the same area in July 2023 (see press release dated 15/07/2023) and on this occasion, the 34-year-old had been arrested for selling drugs to another customer. Regarding today's events, the motorist was reported to the Bologna Prefecture for personal use of narcotic substances, while the alleged perpetrator, the 34-year-old, was arrested.

At the disposal of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Bologna, the 34-year-old was detained waiting to be transferred to the judicial rooms of the Court of Bologna. During the direct trial, the arrest was validated and the The 34-year-old was released, but subjected to a residence ban in the Metropolitan City of Bologna, awaiting the postponed sentence for the request for defense terms.
