Biella, following a check carried out as part of the prevention and combating of weapons-related crimes, the Administrative Team of the Biella Police Headquarters reported to the AG a 79-year-old man, resident in Occhieppo Inferiore, who had failed to repeat the reporting of his weapons to the Police Force, following the change of residence, as well as, pursuant to article 697 of the Penal Code, because he was found in possession of some cartridges, which were never reported. The weapons, a 7,65 caliber Beretta pistol, a 6,35 caliber Beretta pistol, a 357 Magnum caliber Smith & Wesson revolver, a 4,5 caliber Varsavia compressed air rifle, a 12 caliber Maverick pump shotgun, a 12 gauge Beretta pump, a 30/30 caliber Winchester rifle and the ammunition, consisting of 9 357 Magnum caliber cartridges, were seized.
