Bergamo, the Police Headquarters in recent weeks: 10 Fogli di Via, 1 request for Special Surveillance, 2 Daspo “Willy”, 3 warnings for domestic violence and 1 warning for stalking
Bergamo, the investigative activity of the Anti-Crime Division of the Bergamo Police Headquarters, thanks to the constant and timely information connection with the crews of the Squadrons of the General Prevention Office of the State Police present in the city and the requests of the competent Commands of the Carabinieri, has allowed the adoption of numerous Prevention Measures in recent weeks.
Since the beginning of June, the Police Commissioner of the Province of Bergamo, Maurizio AURIEMMA, has in fact signed n. 8 Oral Notices, n. 10 Mandatory road sheets and no return from the Orobic capital and other municipalities in the hinterland, n. 1 request for Special Surveillance, n. 2 Daspo “Willy” with a ban on entry to public places in the Province for a period of two years, n. 3 Warnings for domestic violence and n. 1 Warning for persecutory acts with the initiation of the psychological support process for those interested at the Svolta Association of Bergamo and the "Italian Center for the Promotion of Mediation" of Torre Boldone.
Among the recipients of Foglio di Via, who will not be able to return to Bergamo for three years, we note:
- a Somali citizen with a police record, legal on the national territory and resident in Osio Sotto (BG), arrested by the police on 5 June thanks to the intensification of prevention and control services in the area of the railway station. The boy was responsible for an attempted robbery which occurred in P.le Marconi to the detriment of a fellow countryman, who was wounded in the throat with a knife of approximately 20 cm, a weapon found in the possession of the attacker by the "panther" of the police who promptly intervened on the spot , blocking the attacker, thanks to the timely reporting of other police station operators who were guarding the area. The arrested person, currently confined in the Bergamo prison, had been involved in a violent brawl a few days earlier in the station area and had been arrested by a Carabinieri crew.
- A Senegalese citizen residing in Azzano San Paolo (BG) who on 11 June, near Via Quadrenghi, attempted to attack a Nigerian citizen, chasing him under the threat of a knife, but was promptly stopped and rendered harmless by the police Police headquarters guarding the railway station.
