Belluno: 49-year-old arrested for growing marijuana in Feltre

The suspect of 49 years, had been under the attention of the Belluno police for some time, who, following information gathering, had learned that he could be significantly involved in the growing marijuana plants.

The alarm started on Monday afternoon search of the men of the 4th anti-drug section at the subject's residence. Inside the room there was a dehumidifier and two devices to ensure adequate ventilation and promote rapid growth; other plants had been planted near the nursery and the shed used for storing tools, for a total number of 25 plants.

Near the cellar of the house, a canvas basket containing important foliage residues from a recent harvest was also found. In the galley, in fact, some wires had been stretched with the function of a dryer, from which plants had been hung that had undergone the process of dehydration, trimming and defoliation. In the same room, a specific black tent had been installed, with halogen lamps and fans placed inside, all aimed at stimulating the germination of seeds and the development of cuttings to be transplanted and buried.

The man was arrested red-handed for cultivation of narcotic substances and placed at the disposal of the Judicial Authorities.
