Bagnolo Cremasco (Cremona), brawl in Piazza Aldo Moro: 10 people reported.

The Carabinieri of the Bagnolo Cremasco station have reported ten people for aggravated brawling, nine men and one woman, both Italian and foreign citizens, aged between 18 and 39, one of them with a criminal police record.

The military identified the ten as the alleged perpetrators of a fight that broke out in Piazza Aldo Moro, near the church.

The Carabinieri intervene

That night, around 02.30, the 118 staff intervened in that place because, following a violent argument, some people were injured. For this reason, from 118 a request for intervention had been forwarded to the Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Crema who had sent patrols from the Crema Radiomobile and the Rivolta d'Adda station to the scene.

On site, the soldiers of the two patrols identified numerous people, some of whom had facial wounds following the blows received.

The reconstruction of the facts

After the identification, some young people reported to the military that while they were on the steps of the church with other friends, two men, clearly drunk, approached them and an argument broke out for trivial reasons.

Tempers quickly heated up and the tone of the discussion became increasingly heated, until it came to blows, causing a brawl.

One of the two drunk men also hit the face of one of the opposing group with a beer bottle. The latter's friends intervened to defend him and a brawl broke out between about ten people, then one of the attackers ran away and one remained on site and was identified by the military.

Wounded

Overall, four people were injured, all of whom were admitted to the Crema hospital for treatment. In particular, the military, continuing their investigations, discovered that the attacker who remained at the scene and a friend, late at night, had independently gone to the Crema hospital to be treated for the injuries that they too had suffered during the fight.

Both were examined and discharged with a few days of treatment. And two contenders from the opposing group also went to the Crema hospital and suffered injuries following a few days of treatment for various abrasions and bruises.

Kicks, punches and shoves

As also verified through the images taken by public surveillance cameras present in the area, it was possible to verify that the two groups of young people faced each other with kicks, punches and pushes and the young people identified in the square had actively participated in the fight. The brawl lasted a few minutes and, as reconstructed, a bottle had also been used to attack the opponents.

Therefore, the carabinieri of the Bagnolo Cremasco station acquired the investigative activity carried out by the patrols that intervened that night and the names of all the identified people, recovering the images of the cameras in the area, reconstructing the facts and ascertaining that the ten had participated in the dispute . For this reason they were reported to the Judicial Authority.
