The Carabinieri of the Augusta station applied the precautionary measure of removal from the family home and a ban on approaching the offended person to a 56-year-old for mistreatment in the family.

The man, burdened by police records, is under investigation for having committed the aforementioned crime against his elderly 74-year-old mother, who was forced to report her son for mistreatment and injuries.
Following this, the Carabinieri, coordinated by the Syracuse Prosecutor's Office, collected useful elements that allowed them to issue the precautionary measure for the suspect to be removed from the family home and prohibited from approaching the injured party, with the application of an electronic bracelet.
