Arezzo, was stealing from shops in the centre: identified thanks to the collaboration of shopkeepers and arrested

Arezzo, on Friday, officers of the Investigative Unit assisted by the Territorial Unit of the Municipal Police proceeded to stop and arrest a man, of African origins, while he was stealing various items from a shop in the central area via Madonna del Prato.

The same subject seems to have been protagonist, for at least three weeks, of numerous thefts o theft attempts, in many shops in the city centre. In particular, in the shop where he was stopped, the same subject had been protagonist, at least six episodes, of furtive conduct. In another shop not far away he had become the protagonist of at least others five events of the same nature. These facts have generated, as the days went by, a lot fear among owners and employees, mostly women, of the affected shops.

La maximum collaboration by the victims and shopkeepers in the area allowed locate in a couple of days, through targeted service, the author subject of thefts. They are underway further investigation to understand whether the thefts that occurred in other shops in the city center are attributable to the same person.
