Arezzo, steals goods from a street vendor: tracked down and arrested.
This morning the Operations Center of the Municipal Police of Arezzo was informed by a citizen of the presence of an individual who was suspiciously approaching some trucks that were carrying out loading and unloading operations in the area of Corso Italia and Piazza Sant'Agostino.
On this occasion the subject was described as a dark-skinned man, wearing a black jacket and a red sweater. More patrols were immediately sent to the area, even in civilian clothes, one of which identified and stopped a person in Via Garibaldi who corresponded in every way to the subject who had been previously described and who on the occasion was holding some items of clothing in his hand. female.
Considering that the person arrested was not able to justify the possession of the items of clothing available to him and that in the nearby Piazza Sant'Agostino, a few moments earlier the theft of some items of women's clothing had been perpetrated against a street vendor, the trader was immediately called to check the goods held by the person who had been stopped by the officers.
The check gave a positive result as the peddler recognized without a shadow of a doubt the goods shown to him as his. The man who was responsible for the theft, subjected to photo-fingerprint tests and identified as a non-EU citizen, a thirty-year-old already known to the police for crimes against property, was arrested for aggravated theft. The stolen items of clothing were returned to the merchant.
