Agrigento, two licenses withdrawn by the Traffic Police over the weekend for driving while intoxicated

Agrigento, last weekend patrols employed by the Agrigento Traffic Police Section ascertained that two drivers were driving under the influence of alcohol during checkpoints carried out near San Leone, a seaside village in Agrigento.

These are two men, aged 25 and 50, reported to the local Public Prosecutor's Office, with blood alcohol levels being found to be respectively two and three times higher than that permitted by law.

Furthermore, one of the two drivers did not stop when ordered to by the patrol, but was promptly chased and stopped one kilometer away from the location of the checkpoint.
