Agrigento, he mistakes him for the thief who stole 50 quintals of grapes and beats him

Agrigento, in Licata, the State Police in compliance with an order issued by the Agrigento Surveillance Office dated 28 cm, proceeded to subject CR, class 73, to home detention. This alternative measure, lasting 6 months, results from an irrevocable sentence of conviction, for the crime of Aggravated Theft, issued by the Court of Agrigento.

 

On 25 September, in Licata, the State Police reported to the AG a Mazzarinese BV born in '68 who had attacked and beaten a man last August.

On this occasion, BV had violently attacked a man who had gone to a vineyard, located in the municipality of Butera, to purchase must grapes.

Having previously suffered the theft of approximately 50 quintals of grapes, he mistook the potential buyer for a criminal and therefore attacked him with kicks and punches, forcing him to seek healthcare at the Gela hospital.

The unfortunate person was discharged from the emergency room with a prognosis of 30 (thirty) days.

The police station staff, at the end of an active investigation to reconstruct the story, referred the man to the Judicial Authority in a state of freedom for the continuing crimes of personal injury, robbery, private violence and threats.
