Agrigento, the enforcement activity of the State Police continues for crimes against property; 3 complaints for possession of weapons and 2 arrests
Agrigento, 155 cartridges of various calibers found including cal. 7,65, cal. 32, cal. 9x21 and cal. 38 special as well as thousands of ammunition parts
Agrigento, the activity of the State Police aimed at combating crimes against property, especially robberies, which create social alarm and destabilize normal civil life, continues unabated.
The agents of the Canicattì police station during a search in a warehouse in the Borgalino district found and seized n. 155 cartridges of various calibers including cal. 7,65, cal. 32, cal. 9×21 and cal. 38 special as well as thousands of ammunition parts, ready for assembly using the equipment that was seized, in particular around 900 cartridge cases and around 700 bullets of various calibers as well as around 700 priming devices.
In the warehouse the operators also found a fiberglass boat and equipment for navigation and fishing as well as two trolleys for the transport of boats owned by AMD, aged 22, with a criminal record who was reported for illegal possession of ammunition.
The two owners of the property CC, aged 45 and CV, aged 48, who maintained their availability, were also reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Agrigento, directed by the Chief Prosecutor Luigi Patronaggio, for the same crime.
On 11 May 2021, in Lampedusa (AG), personnel from the Agrigento Flying Squad arrested two non-EU citizens because, recipients of an expulsion decree, they returned to Italy within the expected five years from the actual repatriation. Those arrested, as ordered by the Magistrate on duty, while awaiting the direct judgement, they were subjected to house arrest at the Lampedusa Hot-Spot.
