Agrigento, anti-COVID checks: two places closed for three days

Agrigento, during targeted police services prepared by the Police Commissioner of the Province of Agrigento, aimed at verifying compliance with the rules for the containment of the epidemiological risk from Covid-19, the Administrative Team on the afternoon of Saturday 08 May 2021, carried out checks on businesses public places for the supply of food and drinks, located in Piazza Giglia, San Leone.

In the circumstance he found that the owners of two commercial activities did not ensure that they were carried out in safe conditions.

Specifically, inside a bar, despite the maximum attendance sign placed outside the venue reporting the number of 06 (six) people, the owner allowed access to 21 (twenty-one) patrons, in violation of the provisions for the containment of the COVID-19 epidemic in the "ORANGE AREA" and therefore the report of complaint of administrative offense in violation of the current legislation was raised and the additional sanction of temporary closure of 3 days (THREE) was applied.

On the same evening, still in that seaside resort, he carried out a second check at another public establishment serving food and drinks (pizzeria restaurant) and found that the owner did not comply with placing the sign showing the maximum number at the entrance of the public establishment. of people admitted inside at the same time and who in the circumstance were present with 18 customers.

The owner was charged with the administrative offense and the additional sanction of temporary closure for 3 days (THREE) was applied.
