Agrigento, 25-year-old reported for driving while intoxicated

Agrigento, during today's night, the State Police reported a twenty-five year old man at liberty for driving under the influence of alcohol.

The operators of the Flying Squad during a check in Agrigento near the Peruzzo Village, proceeded to check the driver and occupants of a car.

Immediately, upon requesting personal identification documents and documents relating to the vehicle, the driver showed typical signs of alcoholic intoxication "wine breath". Therefore, with the help of a crew from the local Traffic Police Section, an assessment was carried out using breathalyzer equipment used by personnel of the Agrigento Traffic Police. The test gave a positive result and the young man was referred to the competent AG for the violation of "Driving under the influence of alcohol" foreseen and punished by the Highway Code and the driving license was simultaneously withdrawn.
