Agrigento, 16 cars without insurance coverage seized, sanctioning the owners with a fine of €890,00 each, for a total of approximately €14.000,00

Agrigento, Last weekend, staff from the Territorial Control Office of the Commissariat of Public Security of Canicattì, on self-mounted patrol duty, proceeded with the seizure of 16 (sixteen) cars without insurance coverage, pursuant to art. 193 of the CDS, sanctioning the owners to a fine of €890,00 each, for a total of approximately €14.000,00.

The cars in question were parked on the public street, 13 of which belonged to a used car dealer.

Furthermore, on Saturday the aforementioned staff found two Fiat Grande Punto cars which had both been stolen in Racalmuto a few days earlier. The machines, after investigations by the Scientific Police, were returned to their legitimate owners.
