Pandino: 55 year old returns clandestinely to Italy after expulsion, the Carabinieri of the Radiomobile of Crema arrest him.

The Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Aliquota of Crema, during a territorial control service, arrested a 55-year-old man, convicted and illegal in Italy, for illegal re-entry into the national territory.

The man, who was traveling in a car as a passenger, was checked by a Carabinieri patrol of the Crema Company on the morning of 6 February, shortly after 10.30, during a road traffic surveillance service in the municipality of Pandino.

The soldiers, in a street in the town, noticed a car with three people on board and, after stopping it, they identified all the occupants, ascertaining that two of them they were foreigners and irregulars on the national territory. Then, they carried out further checks because the 55-year-old did not present valid identity and residence documents to the military, resulting in him being an illegal immigrant on the national territory. While the other foreign citizen had an identity document, but not the stay one because I never got it.

Accompanied to the Crema barracks and carrying out in-depth checks, the Carabinieri ascertained that the 55-year-old had been expelled from the national territory in May 2019 following a decree issued by the Genoa Surveillance Office as an alternative measure to a prison sentence. over seven months of imprisonment, which he would have to atone for in prison.

As verified through the databases, the man had been accompanied to the air border and had left the national territory, not being able to return for ten years as required by the decree against him. But the 55-year-old, regardless of the provision issued by the Italian authorities, is illegally returned to Italy, even if it was not possible to ascertain the date of return. He therefore managed to move clandestinely in Italy until yesterday, when he came across the control of the Carabinieri of Crema.

At the end of all the necessary investigations, the man was arrested for having returned to Italy before the foreseen period from the moment of expulsion had elapsed and was held in the security rooms of the barracks. On the morning of February 7 he was accompanied to the hearing to validate the arrest which ended with the validation of the document, the postponement of the hearing and his release for this fact.

But he was still taken to Cremona prison because the judge ordered the reinstatement of the detention order to serve the seven-month prison sentence which had been suspended in 2019. The other man, also illegal on the national territory, was reported for violating immigration regulations and proceedings for his expulsion were started.
