Brescia, 50 grams of heroin seized and arrested by the police
Brescia, Thursday 12 November the Local Police arrested two people for drug dealing and seized more than 50 grams of heroin. For several days the agents had been monitoring the suspicious movements of a man of Tunisian origin who had recently resided in Concesio, already known to the police, who was moving between the underpass of the Mosque in via Corsica, the swimming pools in via Rodi and the city center aboard a Fiat 500 driven by his live-in girlfriend.
On the night of 12 November the same car was spotted in via Ferramola and via Solferino and was followed by a patrol in civilian clothes and with cover vehicles towards the Kennedy overpass.
Once in Via Rodi, the Fiat 500 stopped at the swimming pool and the Tunisian got out, heading towards a hedge where a compatriot, also with a criminal record for drug dealing, was waiting for him on a bicycle. The two, visibly worried, after making sure they were not seen, made an exchange.
The man who had gotten out of the car gave his companion a cellophane wrapper, receiving a packet of banknotes and then returned to the 500, where his girlfriend was waiting for him. The other, however, headed west along Via Lamarmora and, realizing he was being followed, tried to escape to the Perlasca district, trying to lose track of him, abandoning his bicycle and continuing on foot. Before being reached and blocked by the officers, the man also tried to get rid of two bundles, which were immediately recovered by the patrol.
In the first package 50 grams of heroin were found while in the second there were another three grams of the same narcotic substance.
A second crew of the Local Police stopped the Fiat 500 near the "Il Continente" shopping center. 260 euros were found on the man who was sitting on the passenger side, probably the result of the illegal activity. The patrol also searched the latter's home in Concesio and seized a precision scale and a “Power 200” Taser.
Marijuana inflorescences weighing approximately one gram were found in the bathroom.
The two Tunisians were then arrested and, on the orders of the Public Prosecutor, were held in the security rooms of the Command awaiting immediate judgement.
