Brenner, r48.000 euros and narcotic substances were found on board a truck coming from Holland.

During the night between Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st a patrol from the Vipiteno Traffic Police Subsection stopped a truck coming from Holland at the Brennero (BZ) motorway crossing. The nervousness shown by the driver, an Italian boy heading to Modena, led operators to request theaid of the Financial Police who at that time was in Vipiteno with two dog units. The search of the heavy vehicle led to the discovery and seizure of approximately 10 grams of cocaine and, thanks to the nose of a canine unit trained in the search for currency, approximately 48.000 Euros hidden in a bag, money that the driver had not declared he possessed and for which he was unable to provide any justification, as well as the availability of a precision scale, 6 smartphones, 1 tablet and 6 USB sticks, valuables and objects that were seized and made available to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Bolzano, to which the subject was reported in a state of freedom for possession for the purpose of dealing drugs. Investigations are underway into the origin of the money and the seized devices.
