44-year-old foreigner found in possession of over a pound of cocaine and money: an arrest in Camisano.

Cremona. It doesn't stop thereactivities to combat the sale and use of drugs in Crema during the Christmas holidays, which allowed us to complete a new service operation with the seizure of drugs and money. In fact, on the morning of Saturday 23 December the Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Aliquota of Crema arrested a 44 year old foreign citizen, with police records against him, resident in the province of Piacenza, found in possession of cocaine.

That morning, shortly after 11.00, the Radiomobile soldiers, during the normal territorial control service, were in the municipality of Camisano along the SP 591 and noticed a man driving a car coming from the Bergamo area and, believing that it might be of interest, they blocked it for inspection. A series of circumstances raised suspicions among the military. In particular, the fact that he was resident in the province of Piacenza and the fact that he was very nervous about a normal check-up, being in compliance with personal and vehicle documents.

The soldiers searched him, also checking the car, and found a sock which was opened and inside contained a cellophane bag with 103 grams of cocaine. He had money in his pocket which was seized as well as the narcotic. The 44-year-old was declared under arrest for possession for the purpose of drug dealing and accompanied to the Crema barracks. Was held in the security rooms of the Crema Company awaiting the validation hearing held on the morning of December 24th and concluded with the validation of the act, his subjection to house arrest at his home in the province of Piacenza and the postponement of the hearing to 17 January 2024.
