The soldiers of the Anti-adulteration and Health Unit of Livorno, at the end of an investigative activity launched following a communication from the General Directorate of the USL Tuscany North West Company, sanctioned and reported an 18-year-old to the competent Administrative Authority for having engaged in intimidating and insulting conduct towards of a nurse from the “Spedali Riuniti” hospital in Livorno.

During access to the emergency room, the girl, regardless of the assistance activities in progress, behaved in an offensive and abusive manner towards the nurse on duty in the "Triage" station of the aforementioned department, uttering abusive and offensive phrases towards her. .

By virtue of law number 113 of 2020, the 18-year-old was sanctioned by the military with a hefty fine of 1.000 euros. This rule, in fact, provides that anyone who engages in violent, abusive, offensive or harassing conduct towards personnel carrying out a health or socio-healthcare profession or even towards anyone who carries out auxiliary care, health care or rescue activities functional to the performance of said professions at public or private health and social-health facilities is subject to the administrative sanction of paying a sum ranging from 500 to 5 thousand euros.
