Sellia Marina: Extraordinary checks, a young man reported, and two bars closed.

In the last few days the Carabinieri have carried out an extraordinary territorial control service in Sellia Marina and Botricello. During the service a young man of , checked while driving a vehicle, was found in possession of a dose of marijuanaWhen asked to undergo the required medical tests to verify any psychophysical alteration, the driver refused I declineThis behavior has led to the complaint and the application of the sanctions provided for by the legislation in force, or the license withdrawal and seizure of the vehicle, with a simultaneous notification to the Prefecture.

In parallel, with the support of the NAS of Catanzaro and ASP of Catanzaro, the Carabinieri carried out checks in the commercial establishments in the area. In particular, in two bars have been found serious sanitation deficiencies, failure to notify commencement of business (SCIA) and the presence of 5 kg of non-compliant food, immediately seized. Following the irregularities discovered, the administrative sanctions for a total of 6.000 euros and arranged the closure of activities.

As part of the entire service, the Carabinieri checked dozens of vehicles e about fifty people transiting along the SS 106, strengthening its presence in the area to guarantee road users and safety.

The activity falls within the intensified controls arranged by Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Catanzaro, which will be further strengthened as the Christmas festivities.
