Campobasso, PNRR: 2 million for the restoration of Villa De Capoa.
There are two loans obtained under the PNRR by the Municipality of Campobasso and of which the municipal administration of the regional capital received official communication today.
These are two projects, intervention for the restoration and enhancement of the "Villa De Capoa" and energy efficiency improvement on the integrated building/system system of the Alphaville cinema theater in via Muricchio, on which the Council placed a decidedly strong focus, managing, already in the planning phase, to set up intervention ideas that fully convinced the Ministry of Culture (MIC).
Financing
2.000.000,00 euros is the financing obtained with the intervention project for the restoration and enhancement of the "Villa De Capoa" based on the theme "The Villa De Capoa Historic Garden: between biodiversity and sociality" that the municipal administration has presented in partnership with the University of Molise, responding to the Public Notice "Proposals for intervention for the restoration and enhancement of historic parks and gardens" and which will allow a grand relaunch of the entire Villa.
The project aims to redevelopment and valorization of present biodiversity in a general perspective giving back to the community, and in particular to the young people, of a symbolic place of Campobasso also as relaxation space for more psycho-physical well-being of visitors.
The synergy between the proposed interventions will improve management, ensuring better management sustainability economic-environmental and one more efficient maintenance capable of preserving its value over time also in relation tohistorical-artistic interest worthy of protection, as recognized by the Superintendence of Molise.
An important theme: sustainability
The activation of a green component health monitoring system with a view to sustainability and new irrigation systems that will improve the management and maintenance of the villa in accordance with the MIC-APGI guidelines.
Furthermore, the arrangement of the wall, interventions on the lighting and accessibility of the paths they will improve safety and welcome also for those with motor and visual disabilities, while the fire danger due to the high presence of resinous plants will be mitigated with the creation of a new ad hoc system.
An Art Nouveau kaffeehaus
The creation of an Art Nouveau kaffeehaus with an adjoining visitor center and some "view points" is also planned that they will be able to increase attendance and use of the Villa.
New spaces
The restoration of two entrances, in addition to the current one, will allow the villa to be transformed into a attractive place of passage. The signs will also be readable by people with some limitations visus. New indoor spaces such as the kaffeehaus, will be able to host other types of events such as exhibitions, book presentations, food and wine tastings, etc.
The project also includes the creation of a map, both on paper and on the app, with routes to enhance its historical, environmental and cultural aspects, as well as the creation of corridors and ecological barriers, the first for improve the connection between natural and semi-natural components of the urban surroundings, the latter to mitigate the visual impact of the sports facilities currently located in a habitat degraded and reduce the negative impacts (noise and dust) generated by the nearby road network.
As a functional center of ecological network of Campobasso the intervention proposed in the project involves the redefinition of the tree volumes to allow the most suitable agronomic conditions to increase the sustainability of the ecosystem.
The creation of a small botanical garden with the introduction of valuable Apennine flora will allow dissemination of scientific knowledge on these species and will stimulate perceptive and sensorial capacity in visitors, thus increasing the attractiveness of the place. The botanical species will be illustrated thanks to routes readable with QRcode and apps also for disabled people.
Intervention proposals for the promotion of eco-efficiency and reduction of energy consumption in public and private theaters and cinemas
The Administration of Palazzo San Giorgio was also accepted for the project presented by responding to the Public Notice for the "Proposals for intervention for the promotion of eco-efficiency and reduction of energy consumption in public and private theaters and cinemas", from always finance within the PNRR.
In fact, obtained 200.000 euros for energy efficiency works on the integrated building/system system of the Alphaville cinema theater in via Muricchio. The overall amount of the project worthy of financing is equal to 250.000,00 euros, of which 80% is financed as eligible costs with PNRR funds and the remaining 20%, for an amount equal to 50.000 euros, as a co-financing share with own funds of the Municipality.
No waste
The municipal administration of Campobasso, aware that the energy costs linked to the functioning of buildings and public services constitute a large part of the expenses burdening the municipal budget, intends with this type of intervention to work to carry out specific energy efficiency actions on its public structures. competence as is precisely the Alphaville Cinema Theater.
The identification of the planned interventions resulted from an in-depth Energy Diagnosis carried out on the municipal building, which highlighted the primary needs taking into account the type of use of the structure itself. Thanks to this analysis, conducted according to ENEA guidelines and in line with the provisions of UNI 11775: 2020 and the UNI CEI EN 16247 series, the best Energy Saving Opportunities (ORE) were defined.
The implementation of at least one of the improvement interventions indicated in the Energy Diagnosis will allow the municipal administration of Campobasso to combine the funding offered by the State with the incentives from Conto Termico 2.0, increasing the possibility of spending and, consequently, the overall efficiency of the structure.
