In the past week, the police officers of the Railway Police Department for Campania and Basilicata identified 3.359 people, of whom 588 had a criminal record, and arrested 3 individuals.
In particular, On Saturday, the personnel of the Caserta Polfer Sub-section, on train escort duty on board a regional train, arrested, following a check, a 28-year-old from Caserta because he was the recipient of an order to replace the measure of house arrest with that of precautionary custody in prison, issued by the GIP at the Court of Marsala as part of criminal proceedings for the crime of fraud.

Yet, On Sunday morning, the police officers of the Operations Sector of the "Napoli Centrale" station arrested a 27-year-old of Senegalese origin for the crimes of assault and resisting a public official. Specifically, FS Security personnel requested police intervention for a man who, without a ticket, had forced his way into the platforms and, once on board a departing train, had begun to harass and frighten passengers. At the sight of the police, the accused violently attacked them, kicking and punching them, but was, with considerable difficulty and after a struggle, promptly stopped and arrested.
Finally, On Sunday evening, personnel from the Naples Central Operations Sector arrested a 29-year-old Tunisian, an irregular in the National Territory and with a police record, including specific ones, for the crimes of robbery and resisting a public official.. In particular, the officers found that the suspect had stolen the cell phone from the pocket of a woman's coat but the latter had managed to take it back. At that point the defendant had tried to steal it again by hitting her hands forcefully but, failing in his attempt, he then fled in the direction of Piazza Garibaldi, where he was reached and, with no small difficulty, stopped by the police thanks also to the help of the military involved in the operation called “Safe Roads”.
