Caltanissetta: Fugitive wanted for drug trafficking arrested in Albania.

During the investigation it emerged that the Albanian citizen, resident in theMilanese hinterland, through telephone conversations with a former lawyer of the Gela Bar Association, suspended from practicing his profession because he was convicted of external association with a mafia organization, agreed to the purchase of large quantities of cocaine and hashish to be placed on the Sicilian market, thanks to connections with individuals suspected of belonging to the mafia families of Gela, Rinzivillo clan.

The operating result represents tangible evidence of the commitment to fighting transnational organized crime. The following actions are currently underway: extradition procedures.
