Cagliari, 37.842.000 euros of resources destined for businesses: Councilor Desirè Manca presents the SO.LA.RE notice
"The objective – concludes the representative of the Todde council – is the creation of approximately 15 thousand jobs for the unemployed over 35s and for young people under 35 with particular attention to the protection of female employment"
Cagliari, 37.842.000 euros of resources allocated to businesses: councilor Desirè Manca presents the SO.LA.RE notice.
With the aim of giving a renewed impetus for active policies to support the increase in employment in the tourism sector, it was SO.LA.RE. Sardinia – Work Support Sardinia Region Notice Presented, within the regional program ESF + 2021 – 2027.
"Compared to the previous multi-year intervention “Destination Sardinia Work”, with the SO.LA.RE. Notice we have introduced some important innovations. Changes – explains Labor councilor Desirè Manca – dictated by a precise political will, that of extending a helping hand to the most fragile Sardinian companies, to all those companies that in recent years have not managed to obtain economic support, and for which receiving help aimed at hiring personnel can really make a difference. Based on the observation of historical data, we have decided to introduce a ceiling of 300 thousand euros for medium and large businesses and 150 thousand euros for micro and small businesses, so as to be able to satisfy a greater number of requests and broaden the range of beneficiaries. Furthermore - the councilor specified – micro and small businesses will be granted support for the entire period between March and December, while for medium and large businesses it has been decided not to extend the contribution in the months of high tourist season such as July and August, in consideration of the nature of the intervention which aims to promote and incentivize the creation of new jobs which could not otherwise be achieved without help".
The notice is aimed at all companies in the tourism sector and its related industries and includes approximately 70 Ateco codes: from hospitality to catering, from transport to culture and entertainment. The available resources (20.000.000 ESF + 2021 -2027, 17.842.000 regional funds) they total 37.842.000, of which 4 million destined for large enterprises and 33.842.000 for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
"Another important news – underlines the Labor councilor – it's about timing. The notice will be published by May, i.e. three months earlier than the 2023 edition. Furthermore, we will work so that starting from 2025 it can be published at the beginning of the year and with 12-month coverage".
"The target - concludes council member Todde – is the creation of approximately 15 thousand jobs for the unemployed over 35s and for young people under 35 with particular attention to the protection of female employment. The contribution guarantees coverage of between 30 and 40% of expenses for newly hired staff".
