The puppy stolen on the evening of July 5th from the headquarters of the “SOS Strays” Association in via Girelli 6 was found in France.
The investigations carried out by Local Police of Brescia they made it possible to discover that the dog, after the theft, had been abandoned at the Nîmes train station and that it had been rescued by the French veterinary authorities.
On Monday 26 July the Local agents then went to the French city to recover the puppy which was then once again entrusted to the care of the volunteers from the “SOS Strays” Association.
After receiving the report the day after the theft, the Via Donegani Command examined the video surveillance cameras of the shelter kennel in via Girelli. From the footage, the officers were able to identify the person responsible for the crime, a young woman already known to the police. The latter, who was found untraceable, was reported to the Judicial Authority for aggravated theft.
