Brescia, 2025: the season of Brescia dialect theatre returns.

An initiative that involves 61 performances in the city and 17 in the province, with over 48 amateur companies.

Brescia, 2025: the season of Brescia dialect theatre returns.

Us from the as 2025: the “season” of Brescia dialect theatre returns for the nineteenth year, a unique opportunity for the public to attend numerous city festivals and an expansion to the province is confirmed.

After the parenthesis that saw us collaborate for Bergamo – Brescia capital of culture 2023 with the Bergamaschi del Gran Ducato di Piazza di Pontida (an organization that like Palcogiovani promotes theater, popular music and poets in vernacular, true hidden treasures – humanly and culturally speaking), we will continue together for 2025 as well.

Between the Bergamo and Brescia companies, thanks to the exchanges and the experiences lived, relationships were created that, given their naturalness and spontaneity, could not be interrupted.

The experience started last year with the collaborations with some theaters in the province is confirmed. To date we have confirmed the involvement of the San Faustino theater in Sarezzo, the Bonoris in Montichiari and the civic hall “Camillo Togni” in Gussago, and two new theaters are joining with the Marconi Theater in Calcinato and the CTM in Rezzato.

Therefore, a season full of events that will start on January 4th, at the Cinema Teatro di Cristo Re in Borgo Trento, with the company “I Roncaì” from San Vigilio di Concesio and will end in Fornaci, in the community hall, on December 14th 2025.

Enthusiasts will be able to follow, without overlapping dates, all the companies on the bill in the 11 Parish Theatres. The initiative is coordinated by the Palcogiovani association in collaboration with the Municipality of Brescia, once again with the fundamental contribution of the Asm Foundation, Ottica Brescia and Banca Valsabbina, as well as with the precious collaboration of the magazine “Vini & Cucina Bresciana” and Radio MilleNote as the official radio of the event.

There will be 61 performances in the city and 17 in the province, involving 48 amateur theatre companies, 10 of which come from the province of Bergamo.

Some dates to highlight:
The magnificent couple formed by Sergio Isonni and Maria Teresa Danieli, the Brichetti spouses, will be on stage for the first time on Sunday 16 March at the Teatri di San Giovanni in the historic centre of the city with the show “Chi t'ha dat la patente”, accompanied by Giuliano Papa on the cello and Dino Miglioli on the accordion.
The Mantua company “I Tribulanti” di Goito will make its debut in the festival on Saturday 15 March at the Teatro di Buffalora.
The Il fil de fer company from Villanuova sul Clisi returns to the scene, having been absent for a couple of seasons, in the reborn CTM in Rezzato on Friday 11 April.
Paola Rizzi, with the show “Non sono una signora”, again on April 11, will tread the stage of the new Marconi theatre in Calcinato.
