Brescia, a red bench to denounce femicide

Brescia, on Friday 12 June at 11am in via Tiboni, 37 a bench painted red by the volunteers of the Brescia Running association will be inaugurated, as a symbol of rejection of violence in towards women and to make the entire community reflect on the importance and value of life.

The red benches are a project of the Municipality of Brescia created in collaboration with Neighborhood Councils, Bodies, Associations and Groups.

Speakers will include the Equal Opportunities councilor Roberta Morelli, the vice-president of the Brescia Running association Vanna Pennisi, a representative of the Neighborhood Council, and representatives of the two Anti-Violence Centers in Brescia “Casa delle Donne” and “Butterfly”.
