'Benevento Boost - Your passport to stay': the 12-month project that will try to create new job opportunities for young people under 35
At least 160 young people living in the Province of Benevento, secondary school students and other young people under 35 (NEETs, unemployed, immigrants, women) will be involved in the initiatives.
'Benevento Boost - Your Passport to Stay': the 12-month project that will seek to create new job opportunities for young people under 35.
The project 'started on September 27thBenevento Boost- Your passport to stay' funded by Anci and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers – Department of Youth and Universal Civil Service within the scope of the public notice for the presentation of project proposals aimed at orienting young people towards business culture.
The Project was nominated by Municipality of Benevento, as leader, in partnership with national and international institutions and companies operating in the youth entrepreneurship sector, training and support for business creation, the Sannita Sei Sannio hub, the Projenia Scs Social Cooperative, Ja Italia – an international non-profit organization, the Giustino Fortunato Telematic University, the Sannioirpinia Lab Associations and the Giovanimentror Onlus, the Municipality of Apollosa representing the internal areas.
Il Project funded will have a duration of 12 months and will contribute to the creation of new job opportunities for young people and to the strengthening of local productive sectors, such as agriculture and industry with the main aim of bring young people closer to the world of business, providing them with information and knowledge regarding the risks and strategies for starting a business, particularly in reference to those sectors that represent the prevailing territorial vocation.
In the next weeks the first notices for the selection of recipients will be publishedAt least 100 people will be involved in the initiatives 160 young people living in the Province of Benevento, secondary school students and other young people Under 35 (NEET, unemployed, immigrants, women).
There are many initiatives in the field including the birth of two information desks for orientation and coaching (one in Benevento and one in the Apollosa Area), two Idea Generation programs (one for students and one for the unemployed/unoccupied), aSummer innovation and creativity camp' with company visits, a Business acceleration program for the creation of businesses and start-ups in some of the key sectors of the local economy (agriculture, food and wine, culture and tourism).
They express satisfaction with the Mayor Clemente Mastella and the Councillor for Activities: “Building projects like this, focused on promotion of youth entrepreneurship, it is possible thanks to the formalization of partnerships between Public Administrations, Schools, Third Sector and the For Profit World and the cooperation between all the actors involved. This is essential to achieve the desired project results which are, in addition to the active involvement of young Sannio in the planned initiatives, the birth and development of new youth businesses that can contribute to the socio-economic development of the province, the creation of new job opportunities for young people and the strengthening of local productive sectors".
