Benevento: Fans repeatedly block traffic before the match. 22 DASPO measures issued by the State Police

These vehicles, after repeated warnings from the operating personnel, stopped at theexit for Castelvenere where the Caserta fans, approximately 80 in number, got off the vehicles with their faces covered, They occupied the road for about 10 minutes, causing a traffic jam.

Following a complex and detailed investigation carried out by the local DIGOSIn partnership with Scientific Police and with the Caserta Police Headquarters, 13 ultras were identified as the perpetrators of such conduct and were subjected to DASPO measures., the duration of which varies from three to six years based on the seriousness of the behavior of the individuals, some of whom have already been the recipients of previous similar measures issued by Police Chiefs of other provinces.

The measures are in addition to those already imposed immediately after the events by the Police Chief of Benevento against other 5 supporters of the Casertana team, who were caught on the SS 372, during the control activities carried out in the “Vaccarella” service area, in possession of ten pyrotechnic devices of the paper bomb type, a smoke bomb and four clubs, hidden in the rear trunk of the car they were travelling in.

Each of them has been banned from accessing places where football events take place for a period of two years.
