Promoting the culture of respect for the rules and raising awareness among young people about the dangers of the contemporary world: this is the aim of the lessons on legality organised by the Carabinieri Company Command of Benevento in the schools of the capital and hinterland. Initiatives that are divided into a series of engaging and educational meetings, capable of putting the most current and relevant themes for the new generations at the center.
At the Giovan Battista Bosco Lucarelli State Comprehensive Institute in Benevento, the Commander of the main company, Major Emanuele Grio, welcomed by the Director Prof. Domenico Zerella Venaglia, by the heads of the branches Prof. Adelaide Margherita Ranauro and Alessandra Zollo and by the teaching staff, met about 100 students of the last year of the San Vito and San Modesto primary schools in a series of meetings focused on issues such as bullying, cyberbullying, the dangers of the “network”, smartphone addiction, domestic violence and video game addiction.
Particular attention was paid to the phenomenon of cyberbullying and the risks associated with sharing private content on social networks. The lessons on legality, organized by the Carabinieri, are part of a large project promoted by the General Command of the Carabinieri to spread awareness and respect for the rules in schools. Collaborating with school principals, teachers and families, The Carabinieri hope to contribute to the formation of a society based on shared values and the active participation of citizens, to educate young people to be responsible and aware, to respect the rules and to turn to the institutions for any need., a clear and strong message from the force that hopes to leave an indelible mark on the consciences of tomorrow's citizens.
