The victim, waited outside her home and fatally stabbed in the throat while she was recording a video on “TikTok” in her wheelchair, she was known on social media for the creating and disseminating content about Christianity and against Islamic groups.
The French authorities, who have ascertained a close connection between the murder and the religious topics discussed on social media by the victim, once the identity of the author of the brutal murder was ascertained, have ascertained and reported, through the channels of the International Police Cooperation Service (SCIP) and the Office of the Security Expert in Paris, that the foreigner had entered Italian territory.
The immediate investigations carried out by the anti-terrorism apparatus of the State Police – through the specialized units of the Central Directorate of Prevention Police – DCPP, in close contact with the equivalent offices of the French police (SDAT) and with the contribution of the Central Operations Service, have precisely reconstructed his movements in Italy, also through complex technical investigations; the same, in fact, after arriving at Milano Last September 12th, he traveled by bus to Rome until the following September 24th, then reached the province of Barletta, Andria, Trani.
Therefore, the further and targeted investigative activities continued in synergy with the Anti-Terrorism Sections of the Digos of Bari and Bat, in collaboration with the personnel of the Flying Squad of the Bat Police Headquarters and the Central Anti-Crime Directorate of the State Police, have allowed us to identify, by following his "computer traces", within a few hours the alleged murderer in Andria, a place where a few days before the Algerian had arrived and found hospitality with some compatriots, whose position is being examined by investigators.
When arrested, the Algerian did not resist. The suspect, whose possible guilt for the alleged crimes will have to be determined during the trial, was taken to Trani prison and his case is being examined by the Bari Court of Appeal, which held a validation hearing.
