"From the end of November to today, over 400 applications have been received in response to this notice that makes available three million euros of European resources for the activation of targeted paths for job placement, proving the usefulness of a measure designed to support women and men in economic difficulty who have left or never entered the job market. – comments the mayor Vito Leccese -. We are also satisfied with the response of the companies, which is evidence of a virtuous community in which everyone plays an important role in the complex scenario of the current world of work. We are aware that the formula of the training internship does not solve the hunger for work that is registered in our city, as in the whole country, but, despite not having direct competence in work, we have always felt the need to do our part. La Fatica represents a significant opportunity that I hope all the candidates for this measure can seize and exploit to the fullest. I would like that, through an initiative like this, the people involved feel the trust that the administration places in them and with the same conviction they put themselves on the line. I will be happy to wish "good work" to the first interns in the company, with the hope that this can be the first step in a new work challenge".
