A video game to teach safety

During the presentation, the representatives of the promoting bodies met the city ​​school principals to illustrate the aims of the project and provide information on how to join.

Exceptional testimonials were the Mayor Leccese and Councilor Lacoppola, who tried their hand at testing the video game.

“Today we are presenting a prize competition aimed at schools in the city and the region, to introduce young people to the world of prevention and safety at work through play”, declared Councilor Lacoppola.

Il Director Inail Gigante stressed the importance of collaboration between public administrations for spread the culture of prevention, using school as a vehicle for raising awareness.

The project and its mission

The initiative, which has reached the seventh edition, exploits video games and social media to involve students of primary and lower secondary schools on the issues of safety and prevention.

The project allows the kids to:

• Recognize the main risks present at home, at school and in the workplace
• Learn to prevent injuries thanks to an interactive approach
• Enter a sweepstakes, downloading the video game and testing yourself

This year, thanks to the collaboration with ACI, a dedicated focus will be introduced on road safety.

“The Risk Chasers” is a video game brand developed by AgeOfGames, a company specializing in interactive software for entertainment and education.

Promoted by Inail Puglia, In collaboration with the 'Department of Health and Animal Welfare of the Puglia Region andRegional school office, the project aims to make safety a central theme in the education of young people.
