Montano Lucino: 20-year-old Romanian arrested by the State Police for harassing begging

The Como State Police, on the afternoon of February 4, reported for harassing begging a 20-year-old Romanian woman, of no fixed abode, with several previous convictions for property crimes and some aliases declined over time during police checks.

The patrol car, at around 16.00pm on the afternoon of 4 February was addressed to a Montano Lucino shopping center as it was reported a womens that, pretending to be disabled he asked for subscriptions and donations for an association that took care of poor children.

Once the police arrived on site, they contacted the applicant, a off-duty prison police officer who had come across the woman's requests but who, suspicious of the unbelievable ways of doing things, had identified himself as having done so 20 year old Romanian girl unmasked.

The patrol officers inspected the young woman and found a A/4 sheet reproducing an imaginative regional certificate for deaf disabled people and a list of signatures and donations amounting to 140 euros.

Obviously the The woman had no money with her and the association was non-existent.

Brought to the Police Headquarters on behalf of the 20enne all the police records for various offences have emerged past scams and thefts and some aliases, coming later reported for harassing begging.
