Since February, the State Police has been holding meetings with students from some schools in Como and the province to promote the culture of legality

These are training meetings aimed at schools that have joined the project “We demand legality”, arrived atVIII edition and started by State Police in collaboration with Ministry of Education, University and Research.

The policemen of the Como police stationand Cyber ​​Security Operations Section and of the Section of the Police Police They met the students of the primary and secondary schools with the aim of exploring various topics including the cyberbullying, the contrast of thehate on the net, the correct use of social and Internet,education in affectivity, road safety, the need to respect the rules for become aware citizens and for the construction of a society of legality.

The interest of the kids was remarkable and, after attending the meetings, they will try their hand at creating papers on the themes developed together with the State Police.

Testimonial of the initiative is the Commissioner Mascherpa, protagonist of the episodic graphic novel, published exclusively by the official monthly magazine of the State Police “Modern Police” which secondary school students can take inspiration from and choose as a comic book character.

I student-created works they will be evaluated at the provincial level at the Police Headquarters, and then participate in a national selection which will determine the winners of the competition between schools from all over Italy.

Between schools participants, the elementary classes of the “Casati” school and the middle classes of the Don Carlo Baj in Arosio, the fourth and fifth grades of the Prestino – Breccia Comprehensive Institute, the primary classes of the Orsoline San Carlo Institute in the city of Como, the “Tibaldi” middle school in Cantù, the secondary classes of the “Scalabrini” school in Fino Mornasco, some classes of the “Pessina” Professional Institute in Como, and soon those of the Jean Monnet Institute in Mariano Comense.
