Capiago Intimiano (Como), the State Police arrested father and son for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing
The State Police, in the afternoon, arrested for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing, a 52-year-old Sicilian with a specific criminal record and his 20-year-old son, with no criminal record, both residents of Capiago Intimiano (CO).
The constant and widespread control of the territory, carried out primarily by the State Police patrol cars, in the afternoon allowed the identification, during the check of a Lancia Y and its two occupants, of two men, a father and son aged 52 and 20.
From the database check it immediately emerged that the 52-year-old had been, exactly one year ago, convicted of possession with intent to sell half a kilogram of cocaine, in fact the same patrol officers who stopped him immediately linked the previous arrest and, noting the man's evident agitation, decided to extend the check to their home in Capiago Intimiano.
The house search led to the discovery, hidden in various parts of the house and in a car with Swiss license plates parked outside the house, of one and a half hectograms of cocaine, almost three hectograms of hashish, 70 grams of marijuana and cash equal to approximately twenty thousand euros and 2700 Swiss francs.
Taken to the police station, the father and son were arrested for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing, based on the material findings relating to the drugs found and the absence of any form of employment, which did not justify the possession of the large sum of money - believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing.
Having been informed of the activities carried out, the Public Prosecutor on duty ordered that the two be tried by summary trial.
