La Como State Police, in the afternoon of 16st January, He reported 6 people at large, all surprised in a wooded area of cermenate (CO) and intent on starting a air gun war simulation.
Main suspect is a 28 years old from Rovellasca (CO), considered theevent organizer and investigated pursuant to art. 18 of the TULPS for not having communicated to the Public Security Authority nothing of what was happening. He was also reported for possession of an instrument capable of causing harm without the mandatory red cap – a faithful replica of an AK-47.
Together with him, a 20-year-old from Saronno (VA), a 41-year-old from Milano, a 39 year old from Bresso (MI), a 47 year old from Sassari living in Milano and a 17 year old from Rovello Porro (CO). They all had an assault rifle with them without the regulation red cap.
It all started from the event publication on social media, a detail that did not go unnoticed by the experts of the Administrative and Security Police Division, who compared what was reported on the poster - name of the event, place, date and time of meeting, etc. - finding no confirmation among the communications that regularly arrive at the Police Headquarters, deciding to carry out a check.
In fact, the agents really didn't need much because, once they reached the woods indicated on the poster, they surprised the six men all dressed up as soldiers, with helmets and camouflage uniforms and all armed with replica assault rifles. Having stopped the battle before it even started, they were taken to the police station and reported.
The 17-year-old was returned to one of his parents and the replica weapons were seized.
The Police Headquarters underlines the importance of these communications, not only for compliance with current legislation, but also for the potential danger and alarm among citizens that such behavior can cause, especially in areas bordering the city, without prior communication to the Police.
