Como, 39-year-old arrested for drug dealing. He had changed his last name to hide his criminal record.
The Como Police has arrested in the night a 39 year old from Lecco, resident in Pusiano, for possession for the purpose of dealing narcotic substancesThe man, with a criminal and police record, was also reported for illegal possession of weapons.
The operation was launched around the1:30 at night, when a patrol car noticed a large black SUV stopped on the side of the road in Piazza del Popolo, with the driver's side door wide open. Approaching, the officers found the 39 year old asleep inside the vehicle.
Upon awakening, the man reacted with disjointed sentences and an aggressive attitude, making one suspect a'psychophysical alteration. After identification, it initially appeared unprecedented, then the policemen proceeded to search the vehicle, finding approximately 80 grams of cocaine hidden behind the child seat and, in the glove compartment, cash and a knife 18 centimeters long.
Taken to the police station, further investigations were carried out fingerprint tests they revealed that the man had recently changed surname, thus concealing a long series of convictions and precedents for crimes against property, weapons and public administration, in addition to reports for drug possession.
On the basis of the evidence collected, the Public Prosecutor on duty ordered that the 39 year old was taken to the Como prison.
