Como: Steals from patients' rooms, nurse suspended from service for 9 months

The State Police, at the conclusion of ainvestigative activity coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Como, carried out through the operators of the hospital's Police Station, an order implementing the ban on the exercise of public service, issued by the GIP at the Court of Como, against a nurse employed in the aforementioned hospital, seriously suspected of several episodes of theft, aggravated by dexterity and violation of duties inherent to public service, perpetrated against hospitalised patients.

Specifically, the investigative activities of the Flying Squad and the hospital Police Station were conducted through numerous witness statements and photographic acknowledgements, have allowed us to collect as much evidence regarding the responsibilities of the'nurse, who on at least two occasions, allegedly entered patients' rooms to steal cash from their personal effects.

Yesterday at the beginning of their shift, the police officers of the Fixed Police Station they reached him and notified him of the order, which prevents him from carrying out any public service for nine months, pending the verification in court of the findings gathered during the investigation phase.

The investigations of the State Police, throughout their duration, saw the active collaboration and assistance of ASST Lariana, which contributed and significantly facilitated the police officers of the Flying Squad and the Hospital Police Station to carry out the investigations in the best conditions.
